Rocks!

She has a pacifier in because she was chewing on rocks and I'm not so sure they are good teethers.
ooo... Which one do I want to put in my mouth?!

Checking out how gravity works. (See the rock dropping mid air?)

Inspecting the rocks.

Clapping or getting ready to catch?

I'm done playing mom! I'm coming to get you!

crawling and chairs

Crawling has it's issues. Somehow Molly crawled under this chair and then got stuck. We rescued her (after taking the picture).

Daddy's Little Helper

You may have noticed plastic hanging in the background of several pictures taken in the kitchen. Corey is doing some work in the family room. Molly finally realized that the plastic is there and that Dada is on the other side doing work.

daily activities

Holding my sippy cup (it's really a small bowl with a sippy lid!)

I fell down 2 stairs today. See my bump? I'm OK though!

This video is me trying to climb the stairs 3.5 weeks earlier. I've come a long way, but I haven't learned that I need Mom or Dad with me because I like to look back and then I fall. I also don't know how to go down yet.

9 Month Well Baby!

And a well baby she is indeed!
Here's the stats:
length: 28 inches ---75%
weight: 17 lbs 4 oz ---25%
head circ: 45 cm ---75%

She's right about where she has always been. Her carseat goes to 30 inches and 32 pounds- that must be a much rounder baby than Molly because she is going to out grow it length wise before poundage.

Dr. Dovichi is AWESOME! I just love her. She says Molly is perfect and growing well! Molly is doing all the fundamentals- sitting, getting herself into a sitting position and then reaching for a toy and getting back to sitting, scooting and crawling, pulling up on things and standing, walking while holding on to things or us, babbling (saying "Dada" and meaning it!), etc.

Food & Nutrition: keep doing what we're doing. Molly can have soft cheeses now! That will be a fun finger food! Foods she CANNOT have: peanut butter, nuts, uncooked carrots, kool aid, pop, junk food high in sugar, desserts, and potato chips and no eggs. Which means there is a lot she CAN have! Molly eats wonderfully. She likes her food and she eats a wide variety. She even like asparagus! hee hee
Even though Molly can have yogurt and cheese and dairy products, she cannot have milk until a year. Dr. D says that at that point we can introduce milk and slowing wean off breastfeeding if that is what we want to do. I still kind of feel like cow's milk is meant for baby cows though. I admit that I drink a lot of it, but that is my own issue.
Dr D didn't seem to mind that Molly doesn't get any juices. She gets breastmilk and some water.
Molly did get 1 shot today- Hep B. Ouch. And she'll go in for a flu shot in Oct and her well baby 12 month in December.

Dr D wants her to see an ENT dr because of her noisy breathing. We're going later on this month to see him. I forgot what the Dr called it, but Molly might have a floppy airway and this is might be why she snores.
Dr D says we're slowing checking things off the list of concerns. Toes/ feet- CHECK. Now onto the noisy breathing. ha ha

That is all. Sorry this is long winded and probably boring, but it is the update! I promise to go back and post for all the stuff that happened in August. With my computer being out of commission for a week or so and then Molly crawling, it's difficult to get some quality time on the internet. HA HA HA
