reason #5 why Corey is the best dad ever: Molly was helping put away groceries the other day and she grabbed the hamburger rolls out of the bag and proudly said "bread!" while squishing it.
I said "yes, squished bread..."
Corey said "No.. it's loved bread." *awe*
*edited to add that when I posted this on Facebook, Corey said "I said something dumb like that? smack me next time."*

Belly shots
Pics to save as blackmail for Molly
Molly likes to accessorize with hats and glasses, etc as we have seen in previous posts. But it's too cute! So here are some more.

Bunny ears we made as a craft.
(probably were supposed to be for Easter, but we're a little slow here at getting crafts done.)

And here she learned to take her shirt off. She got one arm out through the neck (and thought it was REALLY funny when Mom did it too) and then got the other arm out through the neck, but wasn't sure if the shirt should go up or down. Finally she decided on down and wore her shirt as a skirt. And she's playing with her "yellow flag". It's not just a flag it's a "yellow flag".

Molly 18 month check up
Stats: 32 inches 60th percentile
(this means that she didn't grow between 15months and 18months, I think their measuring might be a little off. Whatever.)
22lbs 3 oz 20th percentile (she gained about a pound and a half)
head 47.5cm 80th percentile
Dr Sara was impressed with Molly as usual. She expected only about 15 words (Molly must have 50) and for her to string only a word or 2 together at a time. Molly speaks sentences as far as we're concerned. "Daddy all gone. Daddy bye bye. Daddy work." etc. Dr Sara didn't expect Molly to have any interest in the potty, but she's gone a half dozen times or so in the last month and a half.
Molly is done with shots expect for flu shots each year and chicken pox which she will need (or a case of them) before going to school.
We need to get rid of the pacifier, but she's only had it at night and nap lately. And we need to brush her teeth twice daily. She's more interested in sucking water off the brush.
Her next appt is for her 2 year appt and will be at the beginning of December. End of 2009 already! And I'll be taking baby #2 with and will probably be doing a 4 month appt at that time!!! Crazy!

Molly & Jasmine

Here's Molly and her buddy Jasmine (Steve & Hollie's DD who is 11 months old). I don't have pics of it, but while they were playing, Molly would go behind Jasmine and hug her. She'd hug to the point where she was holding Jasmine up! She's never done this with any of her other little friends. It was cute. I'll try to post pics if Hollie shares them with me.
Playing around...
Molly narrates her own life. Here she tells herself to "sit down" at the table.
playing with momma's big ball.
"camera" that is what she says at the beginning and end of this vid.
