smartest girl in the world?

I wish I was posting some of the new neat things Molly is saying/ doing. Such as her "n" sounds. She is very nasal-y and it's cute and funny. "Aun Holly" "Yenni" (Jenni), "enuins" (penguins), "run away", etc. But no, I am posting 30 seconds of straight spitting (at the dinner table).

ETA: when she watches this video, Molly says "again please pbllt"

38 weeks

For the belly watchers...

check out these toes!

She sits still and lets me cut both her toenails and fingernails if I paint her toe nails. The first time as soon as the color was on she said "color off!" I said "No. It has to stay on a while. " LOL She likes to show people her toes.

"Down Down Plop!"

Molly started off saying "Daddy down stairs", but it soon turned into "Daddy down down plop!"
In the book "are you my mother?" the baby bird falls out of the nest and goes "Down... down... down... plop!" She loves this and anytime anything goes "down" it turns into a "down down plop!" episode.

big sister concept

Molly has gotten the "big sister" and "baby" concept. It's cute! She's for months now said "baby" and rubbed my belly. But the other day I told her that she was going to be a big sister and she went and got a book that has a sister and baby in it and turned to the page and said "sister" and pointed at the sister and then herself and then "baby" and pointed to the baby and then to my belly! LOL It was awesome! We've been around a lot of babies lately too. And she tells the people with the baby that I have a baby in my belly by saying "momma's baby" and rubbing my belly and sometimes lifting up my shirt to show them.

Maybe Molly has a future in the color guard.

boo-boo

Molly's first skinned knee. She has learned "boo-boo". She will also tell you "skinned knee" but then say "scraped elbow" and look for it because of a book "Where do kisses come from?" that says "...skinned knees and scraped elbows."
