We went to the airport! With about a dozen other toddlers and some younger siblings and mommies.
We were supposed to have a tour, but due to a plane hitting a flock of geese that morning and having to emergency land, stuff was busy and we never made it through security. But we did get to go to the room where we could see what all the security cams were looking at. The highlight of this was looking at everyone's cars in the parking lot "Look (insert toddler name here)! There's Mommy's car!" Then we went to an observation area where we could watch planes take off and land. Imagine all the toddlers banging on glass yelling "AIRPLANE! AIRPLANE!" It's a neat space. They have little kids tables and rocking chairs and soon to be some food service. We might take a lunch and just go there someday to do it again. We'll try again for the tour another day.
$4 for parking and it's one of the cheapest attractions around!
And the guy who did our "tour" gave all the kids wings. (Unfortunately Molly got the tummy bug a few days later and they were in the drawer that got sacrificed.)
