1st trip to Strong Museum of Play!

They were so cute! They were holding hands all the way in and then when I go to take a picture of it, they stop.

Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?

Glad Molly is standing in front of me for this shot in the crazy mirrors.

 In Big Bird's Nest.

 Co-pilots.

Shopping at Wegmans. I don't get it! We shop at the real store once a week!!

Where's Molly?

Ruby Swims!

Don't get too excited, this isn't REALLY Ruby swimming, just her demonstrating how she swims.
Both girls started swim lessons again this last Tuesday. Ruby at 10AM and Molly at 1PM.  They are both going to be swimmers!  Scooping with their arms and kicking with their feet.  Molly goes to class without a parent!  Just her and some friends and the instructors.  The instructors are the same for both girls.  It'll be a fun summer for sure.

Artwork or Art Work?

I know I am biased, but I think some of my kids' colorings are quite impressive and neat.

our weekend

Molly's doctor belt. At the pediatrician's office last week Molly said "I want to be a doctor."
Me "OK.  I'll start saving for college." She thought you learn to be a doctor at the doctor's office.  I told her "cousin Jenni goes to college.  She's going to be an animal doctor; a veterinarian. "
Then Molly says "I'm going to be a fish doctor!"  We were in the fish room and had just seen the fish in the fish tank.  But I think this is the first what-I'm-gonna-be-when-I-grow-up.

Ruby napping.  Why can't she nap in her room?!

Molly did this to the Little People last night.  I asked her why.  She said because they were scared, so they had to lay down.  When I asked what they were afraid of, she said "nothin."
She also lined all the bottles on the bathroom counter up in a straight line.  OCD much?  But first they were doing ring around the rosies.

Ruby pushed Molly yesterday and said "Mol Mol! Ring round!" because Molly wouldn't hurry up and ring around with her and she didn't want to do it with just me.  That was a first too; asserting herself to her sister.

girls and laughter

From our get together at the end of January.  I love the giggles.  Molly & Ruby played so well with Jasmine.  Jasmine is such a sweetheart and soon her little sister will be going in the fun!

Tea Party

The girls were invited to a friend's house for a tea party.  The host (a 3 year old boy) invited 4 three year old girls and his wing man (also 3 years old) and their younger siblings.

We arrive.  Molly & Ruby do a little dance party in the drive way while I get stuff out of the car.  LOL They had to wear little matching dresses and Molly wore a tutu.

We go inside.  My girls take their shoes & jackets off.  2 other girls were there.  The host is wearing his boxers and a t-shirt.  LOL Then the big girls and the host head upstairs to play in his room!  He invites girls over and then decides not to wear pants and invites them to his room.   HAHA HA   Good thing the parents have an open door policy for bedrooms.

The other guests arrived and it was a great time.  The big kids played.  The little kids played.  There was a great lunch with smoothies and sandwiches, fruit, and tea (of course!).

Ruby couldn't stop eating, but wanted to see what the other kids were doing.  She wouldn't sit in her seat.  Even though I was right there by her, she falls flat on her face out of her chair onto the tile floor. OUCH!  She'll have a goose egg.

It was time to leave.  I put Ruby in the car.  Molly is still on the steps.  So the host (in his underwear and bare feet) walks her to the car holding her hand!  So cute!   He said "I don't have shoes on, but it's ok.  It doesn't hurt and I won't step in any mud."  They said good bye.  And he said "you can come to my house tomorrow!" Kids are cute.

Sorry, no pictures.  But too cute a story not to share.  I may be able to add photos to this later.
